We're headed to Cincinnati soon and want some recommendations on things to do with kids under 10 years old and for a date night. I'm gonna share what folks have posted on Twitter and Facebook, but post em here if you have anything to add.

1 - Growing up in OH we visited the Cincy Zoo (@cincinnatizoo) a lot. Also check out the Children's Museum (@cincymuseum) at Union Terminal.

2 - Newport Aquarium, Children's Museum, zoo and all their awesome parks. There is a ton of things to do in Cincy w/kids. http://www.hamiltoncountyparks.org/parks/parks.htm

3 - A friend of mine just got back from Cinci. They took their kids to King's Island and the Cincinnati Zoo. Didn't mention any grown-up fun, tho, so I can't help ya there.

4 - Creation Museum is not too far from there. Great Wolf Lodge has Magi Quest & an indoor waterpark!

5 - hey Eric, i grew up in cincy. the zoo would be great with the kids. the natural history museum is pretty awesome. of course kings island is great for kids and adults. with kids in tow, LaRosa's pizza will knock your socks off. Graeter's ice cream to boot. but for date night, you need to hit Montgomery Inn Boathouse, a restaurant on the riverfront. amazing. and maybe a walk in Ault Park.

6 - My number one stop is always the Cincinnati Art Museum. www.cincinnatiartmuseum.org Not only is there FREE admission but it has some incredible pieces of work. My favorite are the huge Alexander Calder mobiles. There's all kinds of good stuff like Picasso, Ansel Adams, Monet, Berenice Abbott, Margaret Bourke-White, and let's not forget a huge ... Read Moreoutstanding piece by Andy Warhol! Last time I was there they had a Charlie & Edith Harper exhibit. I squealed I was so excited. Eww, and another cool thing is you're permitted to photograph their Collections (just not the traveling exhibits).

I've written enough, but I will also say that the Cincinnati Zoo is pretty awesome and Cincy has some of the BEST thrift stores I've ever found. King's Island pretty much rules, too. Awesome wooden roller coasters.

And yes, I agree. The Montgomery Inn Boathouse on the river is outstanding. www.montgomeryinn.com
