Free sunscreen at Mooney's Pharmacy in JC today (8-28-08)

Bill Meade's local sports radio talk show will be broadcasting live from Mooney's Pharmacy in Johnson City today from 3-6 pm. It's 640 am WXSM and the show is called "Sportsline". I heard yesterday that they would be giving away free Blue Lizard sunscreen today. It's just a block from my house and those of you who know me, know I need the sun block so you know I'm there.
Mooney's is in the shopping center with Whites and what used to be Nashville Sound on Roan Street. You better get there quick, because I'm gonna take 16 bottles home with me this afternoon.

I'll go with empty pockets. Which reminds me of a Bristol race 10 years ago when I was working for the newspaper. It was the Winston Cup back then and they gave away cigarettes in the media center in the infield. One of the photogs for the Bristol paper went in with one of those photographer vests with 167 mesh pockets in them - all empty. They came out full.
Speaking of smoking, we watched Ghostbusters last night. I was surprised at the number of cigarettes lit in that movie. Akroid, Murray, heck I think I saw Sigourney Weaver light one up. Don't guess that would happen these days since tobacco is the evil of evils.
